Pollock & Punk:

This collection is inspired by abstract expressionist painter - Jackson Pollock & the punk subculture prevalent in the 70s.

Bold expressions is a unifying theme that underpins Pollock’s artistic style & the diverse array of punk ideologies. Pollock’s expressive drip paintings are characterised by its unusual graphical patterns & forceful splashes of contrasting colours. In a similar expressive pursuit, punk found their calling in punk rock - a loud aggressive genre of rock music.

These influences are re-interpreted through a feminine lens and interwoven throughout the collection.

Pollock’s artwork inspired the abstract lace patterns while soft flounces creates an elevated graphical effect to the overall look. The punk rock spirit is encapsulated in the collection through unconventional styling; Biker jackets paired alongside fluid chiffon skirts.
